I've confirmed that the mag tube on our microwave (Whirlpool GT4185SKS1) is out, but am not sure if there is any other damage to the unit and have a few other questions I need answered:
1. how can I find out how old this unit is? It was in our house when we moved in, but with no manuals, etc.
2. its a wall unit above the oven - can it be replaced independently of the oven, and is it more cost effective to repair this unit or replace?
3. If I want to replace, who can tell me what unit(s) is the replacement model for the one I have?
