![]() Model Number: JVM1860BD002 Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
![]() I've replaced the buzzing relay on the control board labeled the O-lamp relay and the buzzing persisted in that relay. I traced the wires from the bottom right plug that cause the buzzing to stop when unplugged from the board. I tested each of the six wires on that bottom right plug by removing one at a time and plugging it back into the board and when the black wire is disconnected, the buzzing stops and the inside lights go off. This black wire connects to the thermostat screwed to the outside of the magnetron. The part number of this thermostat is WB27X10166. There is continuity between the terminals on WB27X10166 and no measured resistance or 0.0 ohms. I'm assuming it should have some resistance and I am just wondering if I have correctly diagnosed the part as bad. Thanks, Tyler Related Models |
