The night light on this microwave/hood combination went out. When I touched the bulb it popped & the lens shattered. I think I screwed up because I forgot to unplug it. Anyhow, after replacing the bulb the magnetron & fan, oven light, & night light no longer come on. Everything else appears to be normal...the clock works, cooking cycles appear to be working on the digital display except the magnetron & fan don't come on. To sum it up, all digital functions appear to be working but none of the previously mentioned AC functions work.

I traced the wires from the night light & they go to the PCB Assembly. I think when the night light popped (probably arced) it blew something out on this assembly...Does anyone agree?

Also, how do I discharge the high voltage capacitor...can I just short it to ground? Or maybe I don't have to to replace the PCB Assembly.

Thanks for any help,

John
