My microwave recently stopped heating things up. Everything else works. I opened up the microwave and here is what I've discovered. Basically two melted wires on the back of what says "capacitor". I see where the wire on the right plugs into but where does the left wire go? Was it attached to each other at the end? If so, could I just splice and put a new connector on? Or does that "capacitor" need to me replaced? Thank you in advance for any help.

I'm sorry I don't know how to post a picture using my iPad. I can email it to anyone that may be able to help.

After further research , I've come to find out that it isn't the capacitor that the white wires were plugged into. I want to say it's the "transformer". It would be the left side of it. There is also a black wire plugged in. Thank you

I cut off the burned ends and spliced them into a new connector. Now my microwave heats up again.
Hopefully those two white wires are suppose to be together connected into the transformer. Anyone is welcome to chime in if it isn't..... :)
