I have replaced the top interlock. I close the door and the light turns on and the turn table turns and it just continues. If I put in a time to say cook something and press start, it tells me to close the door and it is closed.

I can push various buttons and all is fine until I press start and it tells me to close the door.

I just got this off of craigslist and I know it's buyer beware. Can somebody hep a brotha out? Thanks in advance. Scott

Hi.

What was the reason to replace the upper interlock switch?
Are you sure it's connected correctly?
Also check the lower interlock too.

Simon.

I replaced the upper interlock because the door was not closing properly. Upon further exam, I noted that one of the tabs that secure the "front glass" was actually under it which was bending the door. Once I fixed that, the door aligned normally where it was arced outward prior.

I screwed the upper interlock in pretty secure and it seemed aligned. The lower interlock looked o.k. Of course I have limited skill, but the connections were secure and it looked like it is closing correctly and aligned properly now.

I don't think I needed to change the upper interlock. I think the problem was the screw I mentioned. Nevertheless, the door error message was the same before and after my "repair." Thanks for the help.
