Greetings. We own a Panasonic NE9830A Microwave/Convection Oven since 1985 and looks as good as the day it was purchased which makes it difficult to throw away and just get a new one. It still heats up but the table doesn't turn. The turntable is driven magnetically by a wheel under the unit that has four magnets which in turn drive the table, which also has magnets, that is under the ceramic tray. I took the unit out in the garage and removed the bottom plate to see the magnetic wheel and I put the turntable back in with a cup of water and turned the unit on. The magnetic wheel doesn't turn. I could see that it is driven by a belt from a gear box which is driven by a motor. I removed the motor and connected the leads directly to a power source and it runs. Now, where do I go. Capacitor? Thanks
