Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

Hi, our microwave hood has started heating intermittently. Sometimes it sounds like it is hesitating slightly when we start it, and it heats very little or not at all. Other times there's no audible hesitation, and it heats fine. Is this the magnetron going out, or could it be something simpler? It's only three years old.

Thanks!

Hi.

Most likely it's the magnetron. Post the model number, so I can help you with parts.

Simon.
