Model Number: jvm1870sf001 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
New guy here. I couldn't find a post for this. GE Profile wall mount. Last nite wife wanted popcorn, a few seconds after starting, a couple of pops and then a sound like a fan was hitting something. Stopped it and opened door to a liitle bit of smoke. Tried it again, no popping but still had the sound of a fan hitting something. Today, took the microwave down, removed the cover, and first time I tried it, everything ran fine. Now when it runs, I can see sparking in the cover where the magnetron is. Normal, or what do I need to check? Sorry for this being so long. Thanks
