If you pull up on the door it'll start up but then the timer will not work and it doesn't heat. If I just leave it alone and hit start the timer will go but nothing will happen. Is it cheaper just to buy a new one or is there a fix?

Check the switches performance with open and closed door, check the wire contacts. Remove the wires first and then C to NO no continuity with the door open, C to NO continuity with the door closed. Opposite reading for the C to NC contacts. Simon.
