Re: Microwave Magnatron Replacement.

Am replacing a Magnatron. It’s located close to the Capacitor. So I’d prefer that the Capacitor be discharged. Most Capacitors slowly discharge by themselves once the unit loses power. Once the Microwave is completely un-plugged, how long is it prudent/safe to wait until the Capacitor loses its stored energy? And, once plugged back in, how long does it take for the Capacitor to rebuild its charge?
