Thanks again, Simon. I will have to remove the cover and try to figure how to tape that switch in place if I can. I was considering if I should remove that whole assembly which holds the 3 switches but not sure if I would totally mess things up.

The microwave oven seems to have quit altogether now. I have order a new, smaller one online and hope to have it tomorrow. They are supposed to take the old one away.
