Model Number: ES202 Brand: -other- Age: 1 - 5 years
Here is the summary of the problem, Microwave not heating. I opened the box, checked transformer, high voltage winding open, so transformer is bad. Then I checked high voltage fuse (2KV, 0.8 Amp), that is also blown. I checked diode and condenser, those seems to be OK although I checked only with low voltages.
Magnetron filament is OK, no short between body and filament. So my question is, Is magnetron also bad? Since fuse/transformer seems to be blown because of over draw of current. What kind of event may cause this kind of problem. Putting stuff made of metal in the microwave? Ads By Google Related Models |
