Microwave Repair

Here is the summary of the problem, Microwave not heating. I opened the box, checked transformer, high voltage winding open, so transformer is bad. Then I checked high voltage fuse (2KV, 0.8 Amp), that is also blown. I checked diode and condenser, those seems to be OK although I checked only with low voltages.

Magnetron filament is OK, no short between body and filament.

So my question is, Is magnetron also bad? Since fuse/transformer seems to be blown because of over draw of current.

What kind of event may cause this kind of problem. Putting stuff made of metal in the microwave?

I should also add after reading other threads. Turntable motor was bad, so I used the microwave for around an year without turn-table working . Will that hurt the Magnetron.
