Door does not always open
Model Number: JEM31SF01 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
About 8 out of 10 times the door will not open when the door release button is pressed, even though the button does not feel any different. A gentle pull under the front edge of the door is required to release it while the button is held in.
Any ideas what needs replacing? Looking at the parts diagram I'm guessing part #24 the latch body? Note that the door latch (#46) does not look worn. Ads By Google Related Models
