Model Number: JVM1640SJ02 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
After replacing the cavity thermostat the clock , fan, and lights worked. When you try to time cook or use the express buttons, the timer counts down but no heating. Is there another thermostat to replace.

Unplug the microwave. Open the control panel and remove the red and white wires from the transformer primary winding. Plug trhe microwave back and check for 120 VAC between these wires while the control calls for heat and the door is closed.
If the reading is incorrect, replace the smart board. If the reading is correct, then most likely the problem is a bad magnetron. - The smart board Part number: WB27X10718 - The magnetron Part number: WB27X10305 Gene.
