Microwave not heating
Model Number: GH7208XRY Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
My microwave quit heating this morning. It appears all other functions work, including convection, but not regular heating. I have done some reading and it seems that I might need a new magnatron. However, I have read that this particular model has issues with a defective wave cone guide. You would think with the price of this thing there would be no issues but I guess no such luck. My question is have you heard if fixing the magnatron will fix the issue, and can you give me some instructions on how to do this safely. I am fairly capable of repairs, but have not had any luck in finding any info on this model or how to work on it. Thanks
