Microwave hood vent fan problem
Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a KitchenAid Microwave/Hood Vent combo Model YKHMS2050SW0 The hood vent fan motor operates erratically. When I switch it on HI it operates on a lowervolume/speed. If I switch to MED it operates slightly faster at medium speed. When I switch it to LO it operates fine at alow speed. It appears as though the HIspeed is not active. Also when I first start the fan it takes a long time to ‘rev’ up to anormal speed. My question is: Is the fan motor theproblem or could it be the switch? Second question: Must I remove theentire unit from th ewall mounting to access the switch and/or the fan motor? Jake Ads By Google
