Model Number: JVM1410WC   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years   

power comes on, sounds normal, maybe a little quiet. food doesn't heat up

Open the control panel.

Remove the wires from the high voltage transformer.

Check for 120V to the high voltage transformer when the control calls for heat.

If there is no 120V check the secondary interlock switch (the bottom switch on the door frame).

If there is nothing wrong with the switch - replace the control board.

If there is 120V then the magnetron has to be replaced.

- The part number for the interlock switch is AP2024337

- The part number for the control board is AP2026271

- The part number for the magnetron is AP2025937

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE microwave Model JVM1410WC001

Thank you Gene for your reply. I measured 120 Vac on the bottom of the transformer Before I order a magnatron, could you tell me how to replace it & where it is located in my unit?
