I bought an LG LMV1680 ST microwave and need to figure out how to get the plate to fit on the turntable. I bought a unit from Home Depot on sale and it may be missing something. There is nothing in the installation or usage manual on it.

I bought a shaft previously from APP (part nmbr 4370W1A006B), but it does not fit the unit, although it fits the plate. My order number was 2672382.

Please see the photo and tell me what you think. The part works with the plate, but the part does not go on the unit. The replacement shaft does not fit with the metal cross or plastic piece currently on the unit.

Any ideas how to get it to fit? Do I remove the pieces currently on the unit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
