Model Number: JVM3670SK06 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Inadvertently ran microwave with nothing in it. It stopped and went completely dead; i.e., no under-counter light, no fan, no nothing. The ventilation door that comes open when it is running stayed open. Check for blown circuit breaker, but it was fine and 115V tested o.k. at wall outlet. Could this be a fried magnetron? If so, how hard is it to replace? What else could it be; i.e., power supply, PCB, etc.? This is a 36-inch wide unit and they are hard to find and expensive.
