Microwave runs slow motion
Model Number: 721.80039700 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
When I try to use it runs real slow and hums. Will not heat anything. The exhaust fans also runs real slow . Seems like it is not getting the proper voltage. I plugged it into another outlet and same results. I would appreciate any help to my problem. Thank You Bob

Hi.
There is the short some where inside. Take the cover off and remove the contacts from the magnetron. Plug in and turn on. If the humming stops - replace the magnetron. If not - check the diod, capacitor and transformer. Make sure the capacitor is discharged before doing anything. Thank you. Post the results. Simon.
