Microwave displays 0 00
Model Number: 98811 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
I have a kenmore microwave manufactured may 1981(564.9988110) it has power and the display shows 0 00 faintly, and that is all it will do . the interior light comes on when the door is open and goes off when the door is closed. i get no response by pushing any of the keypad numbers or function keys. I made sure that the connector plugs were not loose and all ground wires were firmly attached. I do not see any burn marks or hot spots on either side of the circuit board. the solder connections as well as the board traces all look good. I have not been able to find a replacement board by running the model # yet. Info on the board itself shows that SANYO manufactured the board . The numbers EM-3725 Pt # 11278 are printed on the board. Over the years, I have made many minor repairs on my Mother-in-laws MW , but I'm stumped on thei one. Any one can help me figure this one out, it would be great ---- Dale G
