Microwave vent and internal fan stopped working
Model Number: WMH2175XVQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
We purchased our over-the-range microwave two years ago and now the internal fan to the microwave and the vent fan are not working. What could be causing this? Microwave is still heating - just no fan available anywhere. I am trying to see if repairs or a new microwave is the most cost effective way to go. Whirlpool will not lift a finger because we did not buy their extended warranty.

wow
a fan motor is about 20-30 dollars so its really up to you if you have the mechanical ability to fix it. just remember you have to discharge the capacitor before you start messing around with it,
