Model Number: DCM 24S Brand: Dacor Age: 1 - 5 years
I've got a Dacor DCM 24S that won't heat and the tray doesn't rotate. But the light comes on and I'm getting some fan/motor sounds. It seems like the lower of (two) micro-switches on the door is bad. What can you tell me about getting that switch out of the plastic frame (for the two switches)? I've checked the fuse on the lower printed circuit and it's good. In looking over the unit, I know that the door gets a lot of use and is a good candidate for problems. When I measured continuity across the lower switch while operating the door latch I don't get any change.
Refer back to my question on the extrication for the switch which has me stymied for the time being. PS. I saw in one of the earlier posts that there was a link to a manual, but that link no longer is working. It would be nice to have another try for the manual. Thanks in advance.
