Model Number: PLMV168CC1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
The cooking ventilation cooling fan on the Frigidaire Electrolux "Over the Range" microwave oven just quit (no fan sound as before). This is not the "over the range" fan as it still works. The Microwave still heats/works otherwise but concerned extended cook times will overheat unit so must repair. This looks to be the "F79" fan assy "cooling" with motor, however I have miss diagnosed problems before. I found a schematic for parts breakdown and wiring diagram. Am I on right track? Could it be the control panel? Concerns?
