Model Number: MH2155XPB-1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a 4 year old Whirlpool Microwave, model number listed above. My wife blew it out with a flaming potato, and it's dead. I've replaced the fuse, to no benefit. Based on what I've seen, I'm pretty sure I need to replace what the tech sheet labels the "Cavity thermostat 1 assembly." The thermostat opens at 329F and closes at -31F. When I checked the parts list on this web site for this oven, only 1 thermostat was listed. I want to be sure it's the right one, as there are several other thermostats in the microwave as well, all with different opening and closing temps, according to the tech sheet.
The thermostat itself, when pulled from the microwave, has the following markings on it: CS-7TA 5275 N165 On the bottom, it just says, "CS-7." The phone folks told me to post here, as someone would be able to identify the proper part number so that I order the right one. Many thanks in advance, Paul Related Models |
