Frigidaire Microwave Turntable not turning!
Model Number: PLMV168KC4 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
Hello, I would love some advice on how to go about fixing our Frigidaire microwave. The turntable just stopped turning and I have checked the coupler and it seems fine (no cracks) so I am guessing it is the motor. Is this hard to order and replace myself? The microwave is mounted over the stove.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. If I need to have someone fix it...I called a Frigidaire repair guy and was quoted $150 just to ring the door bell (yep, that is how they said it), $55 to diagnose and then additional for parts and labor. I really don't think I need a diagnosis but they don't wave that because I think I know what needs to be done. Would I be taken advantage of here? Sounds like it would be just as easy to replace the whole unit at those prices. Thanks much in advance! Steph Related Models
