Model Number: 665 63794302 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Kenmore 665 63794302 Microwave/Range Hood. It has sockets for two halogen lights in the range hood for light over your cooktop. The sockets state they are 10W max, unfortunately, they've been replaced with 20W bulbs. Now the sockets are cooked and won't work.
I've tried looking up the parts for replacement. I see alot of warnings and the inability to order the parts due to possible radiation leaks and whatnot. Is this something I can attempt to fix myself? Or am I messing with death? If so, is there a place to get the parts? Kind of reminds me of changing the springs on my garage door. Everyone warns you of possible limb detachment but if you use your head it's an easy job. Related Models Last edited by beachrog : 08-10-2009 at 06:04 AM. |
