Model Number: 721.80019401 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a 2 year old Kenmore microwave that will not heat food.
It did crackle a bit before it stopped heating. There is a smell of burning electric and a loud buzzing when it's running. I'm 90% sure it's the high voltage transformer but want to make darn sure I'm right since I can't return it once I buy it. I have verified that there is no continuity between the leads of the magnitron and the chassis. I have no continuity across the capacitor diode. I have no continuity across the capacitor (problem????) I have tried to test the hv transformer but has read mixed reviews on what reading are acceptable and which are not. Thank you for your help Ads By Google Related Models |
