Model Number: jmc8100adw Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 1 - 5 years
The antena a circular piece made of metal and resine is not manufactured by the producer (Maytag) any more. How important is this part?

Thank you so much. The antena broke while I was changing the magnatron. Its a jen-nair micro. They do not produce the part any more so I can not buy it from them or couple of retailers I checked. Can glue (superglue the broken pieces? I f I can please tell me how it is installed. If I can not then what can I do? |

Thank you Gene. The reason I asked the question was I did not see any thing to which the antenna connects to. There is a shaft going into the cavity from the megatron and then inside the cavity in a circular cutout the antenna was sitting. There was a cover on top. When I opened the cover (don't know why I did!!!) the antenna came out. Please tell me the reassembly steps for the antene. Sorry to bother you. Regards
