The light blew on my microwave and I made the mistake of trying to remove it while still plugged in. I think I tripped a fuse- the whole unit went dead. I went to the trouble of removing it and FINALLY locating the 20 amp fuse and replaced it. The whole unit is still completely dead when I plug it in. I didnt fix the bulb yet, but after reading various posts from similar situations I dont think it needs a new bulb to work. I didnt screw in all the cabinet screws either, but I doubt I would need to to see if it works. Any ideas what could be wrong? I think I read somewhere that you can blow the circuitboard if you try to change a bulb without unplugging it. Seems ridiculous! Who the heck designs an appliance that way! THoughts welcome. Thanks in advance!
