Sometimes it will start with a low engine power light and wont go more than 20 mph. Sometimes it just wont crank at all like a dead battery.

Models LMVM1945SW, LMVM1945SB, and LMVM1945SBQ are all covered in the service manual here.
Unfortunately, that manual does not have part numbers. For LG parts, you can visit Encompass here, but you'll probably have to call them at 866-779-5835 to get help finding part numbers. These "touch on door" models are especially susceptible to moisture and grease from the stove top. So as with any over the range model, I always recommend that you use the vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove top to keep heat, steam, and grease out of the controls and door panels. That's especially important in these models. Direct spraying of cleaners on the keypad and steam from the cooktop can damage the controls. So I always recommend on any microwave that you spray non-ammonia cleaner on a soft cloth (not a paper towel which can scratch) and gently wipe the keypad. You may have some moisture in the controls which can dry out. You may have to unplug the oven, separate the door panels, and let it dry for a day or so. If that doesn't work, there may be moisture or sediment on the control circuit board. Most often on these, the keypad gets ruined and you replace either the membrane keypad or the whole front door panel, which comes with a new keypad on it. The service manual does not have part numbers, and is usually not up to date, so that's why I recommend calling about the parts. Good luck. . |
