Model Number: 1800XL Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My GE 1800xl had all the following happen at once after working just fine for the six years weve had it.
Light wont go on when door opens Turntable doesn't turn Cooling fan doesn't go on during cooking Cooktop lights arent working despite replacing the bulbs Dont know if its heating or not because I didnt want to operate it without the cooling fan. I have replaced the two ceramic fuses which did not correct the problem. Control panel seems active, but LEDs might be dimmer than I recall. Vent fan and booster fan are working properly. Any ideas on what to do next? Ads By Google Related Models |

Sounds like the control board has gone bad. If you need the correct part number, post the complete model number of the microwave.

I don't know why but GE calls all microwaves "counter top".
