Microwave has no power.
Model Number: KHMS147HSS1 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
Customer opened door and light came on. But, she cannot set the functions to make the microwave work. Door closes fine.

Hi,
If when she tries to set the functions it's like the buttons don't work then I would check the membrane switch ribbon cable for a bad connection. The ribbon cable end may need to be cleaned with a pencil eraser. I would also check the control board were the ribbon cable plugs into for bad solder connections.
