Lights & fans staying on itermittently
Model Number: JVM1440BH04 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
GE Spacemaker JVM1440BH04
The door closes but the light and fan come on without the microwave starting The fan goes off, (light stays on) when the door is open. If you paly with the door enough (open, close, just barely open till you hear a click, and close again) it sometimes shuts off, like it should. I can manually use a small screwdriver to push the switch in the bottom hole where the door key goes and it will turn the fan on, but I cannot press anything on the top key hole. Which Would it be one of the switches I need to replace and can you tell from the description which swtich to replace. The microwave does work, but the fan and light stays on.
