microwave oven
Model Number: DVM1850DM1BB Brand: GE Age: Less than 1 year
When the oven is plugged in, the display comes on and the oven hums.
If I open the door the humming stops. If I close the door the humming starts, the inside surface and the walls of the microwave gets hot and the oven cuts itself off. I need help Ads By Google Related Models

You have an interlock switch that has failed, but if the microwave is less than a year old, go to GE's website and get a tech to look at it while it's still under warranty.
