Model Number: JM 1860 SD 001 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
IMy MWO stopped heating. I found the diode measured 20 ohms in both directions (shorted?). I replaced it with one from my parts place. It still doesn't heat. I measured 120 VAC across the primary on the HV transformer.
Any ideas? Ads By Google Related Models |

Well 20 ohms definitely isn’t right so the old diode is bad. All most every time I see a diode bad the magnetron tube is also bad. Microwave Repair Guide
