Microwave Touch Screen issues
Model Number: GH6177XPB-3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Setting clock then selecting AM to PM does not register on touch screen.
Clicking "More Choices" touch screen button brings up Clock reset screen. Ads By Google Related Models

Gene, I can enter the time using the number keys, but the one button that represents AM/PM does not register a finger touch. The default is AM.
There is also a FINISHED button that does not register the finger touch. I have to push START to accept the time. There is a touch button called MORE CHOICES. When I select it, the 'reset clock' screen appears.

Sounds like the problem is a bad touch pad. It comes as a part of the control panel. If you need the correct part number, post the color of it.
