Model Number: JVM1190SY001 Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hi all,
Just replace the magnetron and diode on our GE Profile Spacesaver Microwave oven, and still no heating After reading all the posts, I thought for sure these 2 parts would solve the problem. My brother-in-law did the hands-on replacement of the parts after I did the research and ordered them from **************************. A little more info - the new diode had no reading from our digital multimeter (set to diode setting) - when short the leads, we get a tone, and hooking up the diode gives no continuity reading in either direction. Is it possible the new diode was faulty ? Also - might anyone suggest some other components that might be suspect, or meter readings that would give more troubleshooting insight ? Thanks very much in advance, Joe Ads By Google Related Models |
