We purchased a new handle (order #261846) and are having trouble reassmblying the door. Where dos the bottom of the latch spring hook into the door?

We figured out the spring but now are having trouble remounting the door on thmicrowave. The botom pin wiil go into the appropriate indent/hole. The top won't.

door back on. spring keeps coming off. microwave is old enough to replace. not getting frustrated. hust wondering if there any well designed units.
