This is friends micro/oven unit. It had the f3? code, which GE told us was a control panel (shorted for +60sec.) fault and it would need replacement. I ordered the replacement panel here (WB27T1125), it showed up with the top board broken and was DOA. I called and was sent out another board which appears fine. However once connecting everything here is what happens: oven works fine, micro works fine but... the display does not function on the micro. I have over 25 years electrical experience with training down to component level repairs. I find it hard to believe that two defective parts were sent out. The display always worked before and there is almost no way to hook up any wires improperly. Any help would be appreciated.
