light stays on inside and convection mode wont change mode and i hear a clicking from inside help

If the microwave is less than a year old then do not do anything and call Sears for the warranty service. Otherwise post the complete model number and more specific information on the problem.

thanks its a kenmore elite micro/convection oven i bought it at an auction so there is no warranty when you plug item in the light inside the unit stays on nomatter what you do. if you put the time in to set it up and then try to micro i hear a clicking noise from inside. i took the cover off the unit nothing seems to be out of place or hitting a fan or anything model 80824

It does come up on products search, but it does not come up on parts and/or diagrams search. Maybe because it is very new. Unfortunately I'm not able to help you in a such situation.
