Model Number: JVM1630WB004   Brand: GE   Age: More than 10 years   

I have a GE microwave model # JVM1630WB004 which does not heat. Everything elsa works. I think I can replace the bad part if I know what to order. Any one help Thanks

One of the most common problem with GE microwaves is a bad magnetron tube.

Based on my experience, I would recommend to replace the diode together with the magnetron.

- The part number for the magnetron AP2025937

- The part number for the diode AP2026385


- Here are the break down diagrams for the GE microwave Model JVM1630WB004

is the magetron what GE calls the heating element??

There are no heating elements in your microwave.

The magnetron is the part which producing the microwaves.
