Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/1/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a microwave from 1985 that works great. Unfortunately, the door opening mechanism broke. I have taken the door off. I think the rod that goes from the bottom hinge up to the latch is broken. The rod is only 3 inches long. Did the rod break or is it a part that attaches to the latch?
