Model Number: JVM1851WF001 Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi all.
I have a 2002 JVM1851WF001 and it is making noise from both the center top and the center bottom. When I turn the turntable off with the control panel, half of the grinding noise stops, yet it continues at or near what I've read to be the "stirrer" motor. I can't imagine how the two might be related, nor how they could both be bad simultaneously. If anyone can add some helpful information, I'd certainly appreciate it. I'm not the original owner, and the other motors (tube cooler and vent) are working properly, so I'd hate to get rid of it if it's repairable. I have plenty of mechanical skill, but I'm not a technician or digital meter guru... Tryin' to save a few bucks, and I thank anyone in advance who'll help me do that.
