I have a whirlpool mh7130xeb-2, The lights on the back blew out and one of the bulbs shattered, I replaced both bulbs and nothing happens, there isnt even a beep when I press the light button. Can someone help me trouble shoot and get this working with out costing me 100's of dollars?

Thanks,
:)

I thought both lights had burned out on mine but new ones did not light up. It turned out to be the solenoid on the circuit board. It was going to cost something like $150 for a new board so I just hard wired in a 120v toggle switch and spliced into a hot wire from the power supply. The touch pad button no longer does anything and there is only one light level, not bright and dim as before.

The fuse is an inline type and is easy to find. There is a schematic sheet tucked inside the unit that you will find when opened. I found the upper vent bezel the trickiest to remove, I think there were two screws and then it had to be popped out of some snap connectors but it was a while ago and I could be wrong. Just be careful and you wont break anything.
