:rolleyes: Hi, the "1" and the "8" have quit working on my Jenn-Air built-in microwave...do I need to replace just the membrane, or the electronic works beneath it also?

The new membrane should solve the problem.

The model number you posted does not come up.

thanks, Gene. That model...I couldn't quite make out the last letter, but the rest of it is on the label inside the door on the body where the model and serial number are.

I wonder if that particular model and style are either limited or discontinued. We bought it at a warehouse appliance wholesale clearance, it was the only one. It's black and stainless steel finish, has sort of a curved exterior, is a built-in, in the cabinet overhead and nicely matches a Whirlpool Gold black-and-stainless-steel freestanding gas range/oven bought the following year, that was from a dealer showroom. I think it's about 8 years old. Works great, except the numbers started getting fussy about a year ago. One at a time. Does that make sense?
