Please Help....Microwave stopped working
Model Number: JVM1850BH06 Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
GE XL1800
Model # JVM1850BH06 Manufacture date- Aug. 2006 Wife was re-heating something and then all of the sudden, the interior light shut off and the microwave started humming. The control panel still works. No interior light, no exterior light, turntable does not turn and there is a low hum. There is obviously no heat. Any thoughts on what could be wrong? Id hate to get a service tech to come out and spend money that I dont have. I have access to a local appliance parts store, so getting the parts shouldnt be an issues.
