Model Number: GH7155XKB Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Could you please let me know if I need to replace the entire microwave door or if there is a way to replace the damaged parts? Both the inner and outer clear "window" panels have been burned on our Whirlpool microwave. It is a fine microwave, and I would hate to replace the whole thing when only the door is damaged. |

The difference in price for the whole door assembly and separate parts is about 15 bucks. In my opinion it's better to replace the whole door due to safety issues (the door is protecting you from the radiation leakage) and possible damage to other parts during repairs.
