I tried to open my GE countertop Microwave oven model# JES1656Sj02 bottom cover (panel) to replace the turn table motor. Apart from side screws there is one screw above motor assembly and four screws on top of the cover itself on one side. I need some guidence to open the cover and replace the motor.

I found out myself it is only 2 mts job. Unplug the oven & place it upside down over cloth. Unscrew the center screw over a small perforated door and plug the new motor. Replace the door. If the unit is new you shoud snip the small metal attachments of the door to the panel and slide it up towards screw hole as the door sits on two legs on the bottom.
