Default GE vent/light button repair
Model Number: JVM2070CH01   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

Hi! Hope you can help me out here. We have the GE JVM2070CH01 over the range microwave and the three buttons for the Vent/Boost/Light control are not working anymore. I found an exploded diagram for the microwave on GE's appliance site and the module that I believe needs to be replaced or probably reseated is Item #17 (P/N WB27X10725). I think that part is probably a pc assy with the switches on it and my guess is that it has broken loose from its mounting position. But, I can't figure out how to get to the thing to see what needs to be done. Can anyone explain to me how to gain access to the switch module?

Thanks!

Tom

Aha! I figured it out and sure nuff, one of the switch module mounting ears is broken off. This should be fun to try to fix...
